1. Introduction
Welcome to Five More Minutes (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the rights you have over that information. By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Data We Collect
We aim to collect as little data as possible. The information the App may process includes:
- Device Information: non-identifying device data such as device model, operating system version, language, screen size, and a resettable advertising identifier provided by your device.
- Usage Data: basic information about how the App is used, such as session length, crash and stability diagnostics, and feature interactions used to improve the App.
- Game Progress: gameplay progress and settings stored locally on your device.
The App does not ask for your name, address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.
3. Third-Party Services
The App relies on the following third-party services. Each provider has its own privacy policy describing how it handles data:
- Google Play Services — required by Android for app delivery, updates, and security. Google Privacy Policy.
- Google AdMob — used to display advertising, including rewarded ads and banners. AdMob may use a device advertising identifier to deliver and measure ads. How AdMob uses data.
Where required by law, the App displays a consent prompt before ads that use personalized data are shown.
4. Children’s Privacy
For users we know or reasonably believe to be under 13, the App:
- Does not knowingly collect personal information.
- Does not show personalized (interest-based) advertising; only non-personalized ads are served, as supported by Google AdMob and Google Play Families policies.
- Does not use cross-app tracking identifiers for advertising.
- Does not include social features, chat, user-generated content uploads, or external links that are not clearly labeled.
- Limits third-party SDKs to those certified as compliant with Google Play’s Families policy and applicable child-safety standards.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us at the email below and we will promptly delete that information and any associated account data.
5. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete your information (“right to be forgotten”).
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
- Opt out of personalized ads via your device’s Google settings (Settings → Google → Ads → “Delete advertising ID” or “Opt out of Ads Personalization”).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the email below. We will respond within a reasonable time frame and in accordance with applicable law (GDPR, CCPA, COPPA, etc.).
6. Data Security & Retention
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data processed by the App. Local game data remains on your device until you clear the App’s storage or uninstall it. Advertising and diagnostic data handled by Google is retained according to Google’s own policies.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated through the App or the store listing where appropriate.
